One for the road!!!

McMahon’s was another pub enjoying a strong trade when Pub Spy and the team stopped off for a pint… or two!

We did stay slightly longer than planned but such was the atmosphere and the lovely clientele that we couldn’t bring ourselves to leave. There was live music in the second section of the pub and each of the three members of the bar staff were kept busy throughout our stay.

The green velvet bench seating was in good condition and the interior stone walls were a lovely feature. Harp, Coors, Orchard Thieves and Birra Moretti were all available on draught and there are poker machines, cigarette machines and two TV’s also.

The Clare football team from 1992 that captured the Munster championship are proudly displayed among the photos on the wall and the tiled floor was very clean.

As expected the toilets checked out fine. We had a good time in McMahon’s and so did everyone else by the looks of it.

Rating: Three pints out of Five
