Thursday 14th November 2024 marked a special occasion as Sparkles represents a significant step forward in promoting inclusivity and diversity within Merthyr Tydfil. This was the pre-launch night for Merthyr Tydfil’s first LGBTQ+ Bar which was attended by pub-goers, organisers of Merthyr Tydfil Pride and local Councillors.
The official opening is on Friday 15th November, with performer Polly Amorous due on-stage at 6pm, and PINK ‘get the party started’ scheduled to perform on Saturday 16th November.
