A service took place on Friday 8th November at the Mayphil premises, which used to be the site of Kayser Bonder. The service was officiated by Kerry Bunce, the Chairman of the Merthyr Tydfil Branch of the Royal Welsh, and Reverend Caroline Owen.
The service was also attended by young people from Gwaunfarren Primary School.
